Heyyyy there!
So Tangs(a department store was having a 12% rebate for members and I just happen to be a member!) So I decided to get this kit from philosophy because I do use Purity and I've been itching to get hope in a jar!
Philosophy itself was also having a 10% off for new members. So I just thought getting the kit was worth it! The staff at Philosophy have always been very kind to me as well and this trip is no exception! But I do think the saleslady was a bit sad that I didn't buy more. If you spend $150 you would have gotten a full sized purity foaming cleanser or the purity cleansing oil.
This kit costs $110 but with the 10% off only cost $99. A bargain considering when hope is not enough is already $65. I did think of hitting $150 but at the end of the day I didn't need that many cleansers because I tend to be lazy and not wash my face as often as I should unless I am wearing makeup.
Even then, I got a free philosophy tote bag. Here it is still nicely wrapped. Its white and I didn't want to dirty it hence its unwrapped state.
The saleslady was kind enough to give me all these samples! Here I was upset that I didn't get hope in a jar in my Bellabox.
I liked the saleslady(keep calling her that even though she's only a year older). The thing was I went there first thing when I walked in and actually walked away and said I would think about it first. When I went back a few minutes later she wasn't there at the counter anymore. But my friend told them that we were waiting for the saleslady who served us earlier. Because I think they do get commission. I am blissfully unaware of all these stuff never being in sales myself unlike my friend who worked as such before.
And call me a sucker for being so pleased when they give me so many samples. It just shows how good their service is and makes me feel better for buying their products.
But I think I have been overcompensating lately with all the shopping because of how stressed school is making me. I need to budget myself.
