I am like in a hostel room typing this with only a few hours of sleep. I don't know if I can do this justice.
I stayed at Melia KL opposite Berjaya Times Square. Which is good cause I get to go a mall which is right opposite our hotel and tons of malls are within waking distance, if you are a good walker.
So we booked the hotel throuh the website which gave us a RM30 food voucher to be used at their hotel kitchen, THE KITCHEN@MELIA.
Above two are pics of the creme brulee. My mum and I didn't like the caramelized sugar because I think they did it too early so it was hard rather than liquidy.
Their Strawberry cheessecake..
Lobster Bisque, which wasnt really great. It was really salty. What I did like was the chucks of lobster.
Chicken satay. I do have to say that paying full price for this would be stupid...but it was really good.
One of my favs, FRIED ICE CREAM.so unique. Definitely must try just cause its hard to find!
This is some crepe in orange sauce.The sauce was quite sweet.
My mom got some vegetarian dish.
This was carbonara spaghetti! I was shocked when I saw this! never seen black pasta before.
I did also try a few other things that I forgot to take a picture of. Like their chicken cordon blue(???) The normal prices are crazy. But overall, we paid only abt half price or less including drinks. So its very worth it!
